Guess what?

Hi everyone!

I haven't posted in a while... guess what?!
I' now have a domain for my blog. So I've been busy trying to figure out how to use wordpress and everything. You can find my posts here and I'll write in Norwegian from now on. Still, I hope I won't loose those of you who have been reading my blog in English. I really appreciate all your nice comments and it's so great to connect with people who are interested in fashion from all over the world. One, two, three!

I was so happy to see Norwegian Kristian Aadnevik on style.com's list of this season's most promising talents. He's without doubt my favourite of the ten they mentioned. But Hannah Marshall's designs also caught my eye. Her designs are cool and edgy. Rock chick without looking trashy. Every girl needs a little black dress -so why not make it a Hannah Marshall?

How many of you read The Clothes Horse? I'm guessing quite a few, but if you haven't discovered this wonderful blog yet I suggest you add it to your blogroll asap.
Anyway the reason why I'm mentioning her here is her latest outfits. They are just fantastic! She looks like a girl you would see sitting at a chic cafe in the heart of Paris. Really inspiring :)

Looks like I'm not the only one who had my eye on the wonderful Mulberry bag I blogged about a while ago. Here we have Pixie carrying that little (or well, big) piece of heaven over her shoulder. Lucky girl! I wish Bob Geldof was my dad so I could have all the Mulberry bags I wanted in the world. As much as I love the red one I think the blue one would look much cooler with the blazer she's wearing in the picture. And it looks a bit flat... she should stuff some newspaper in it or something.

I want a Marchesa dress

I wanted to make a post about my fall 08 favourites today but when I looked trough the Marchesa slideshow at style.com I knew the gorgeous dresses deserved a whole post all to themselves <3 What's not to love about them? I'm speechless... so I'll just sit here, stare and enjoy. Sigh.

Party, party!

Maja celebrated her 19th birthday so we went to her place this Saturday. Finally got the chance to wear my new silk top from Zara. After a few drinks I was attacked with a hairbrush. It looks fried. Not so much hot candy cotton hair. Maybe it's time to get a haircut? ;)

What a bargain, 75% off!

I have a really big test tomorrow so I stayed home today studying. It's sort of strange how I still feel a need to tell my mother everything even though I've moved out. I called her this morning and was like, "mom... just thought you should know I'm not going to school today." Then I went downstairs and had ice cream for breakfast. Yay! Anyway. The store I work at has a lot of stuff on sale -75% off! So I bought some new stuff. I still haven't bought a new camera, but I managed to take some pictures with my old one... even though it's still making strange sounds and you have to press the button for like 5 minutes to take a picture. Everything in the pictures is from the store I work at except the black high waisted mini (from laredoute... really happy with it!) and grey leggings (from only). Btw, never buy leggings from only. I bought five pairs without trying them on first and the quality is really bad. Their long tank tops are great though.

I'm all settled in! It's so exciting to finally live on my own. The only problem is that my room here is about half the size I'm used to at home, so it's hard to decide what stuff to bring to the new place and what to leave in my old room. I still have some pictures, another mirror and shelves left... and an empty wall. I'm not sure what to put there yet... maybe I should just leave it empty, or put up the black and white editorials I had in my old room (see pictures) So, what do you guys think? The cellphone pictures are horrible, but I still haven't bought a new camera.

Missed me yet?

I haven't updated in a few days because I've been busy moving to my new place. I'm really happy with my new place... the only problem is finding room for all my clothes and purses. But oh well :P
Anyway, I'll update soon. Just need some time to sort things out.
